I decided to write Stationwagon in Rails as part of my learning process. I used Devise for authentication and deployed the app with Heroku.
Thanks, I appreciate it!

The new Stationwagon version is here and it’s powered by the latest Fuel 1.0.0-RC1! There are a lot of new features in the RC1, you can check them all out on Fuel’s website.
If you don’t know about Stationwagon yet, it’s basically a blog application powered by FuelPHP and the main purpose of this application is to show beginners how things work in Fuel by providing real and working examples.

I currently use CodeIgniter for any client work, but there is a new framework called Fuel (http://fuelphp.com/) which I use for personal projects. It basically combines all the best features in PHP frameworks.
I contributed a couple of classes and helped with the documentation. I will definitely use it in the future for client work.

If you’re going to go down, you might as well blame it on an imaginary animal like Twitter did with their infamous Fail Whale. I’ve taken the liberty of creating this animal for you:
Please use it.
Please oh please.
I’ve been active in the FuelPHP’s community for awhile now and the new framework looks really good. I will definitely be using it for all my future projects. Visit the FuelPHP website to know more about the framework.
I worked on a simple blog application with Alfredo Rivera called Stationwagon using Fuel. The main point of the application is to help users who are new to Fuel how things work by providing examples and code.
Stationwagon uses ActiveRecord and Auth packages, and shows you how to setup Pagination with your existing data. So, you’ll learn how to create a Fuel-based app on your own with the basic stuff.
You can checkout Stationwagon on Github. If you’d like to contribute, just fork the repo and do a pull request if you made any changes.
